Gina's vocation presented to her by God, was a youth minister in Prior Lake for over fifteen years, and found her volunteering for more than thirty years. During that time, her youth program became a banner program in the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis. The youth program was powerful and effective in the lives of teens, their families, the surrounding community, and other parts of the country because of the gifts Gina shared over the past four decades.

The Gina Tupy Legacy Foundation is comprised of a group of volunteers that have been touched by Gina’s gifts over the years.  This year, and in recent years, through the generosity of many, the Foundation has been able to graciously give to causes such as: Lakers 4 Life, Focus, St. Paul Outreach, NET, The Prolife March, Catholic Heart Work Camp, Seminarians, Community Events, fulfill Church Faith Formation needs, and present speaking engagements including Parish Missions and Immaculee. The Foundation Board and Members believed that these causes and groups fulfilled the Mission and Values that Gina holds close to her heart.

With the difficulties of today’s world, and the unexpected stray from normal life especially for our youth, it is imperative now more than ever, that we provide resources and offer safe places for them. There has never been a more crucial time to fill the youth with God’s love.

 

Those who have witnessed Gina’s love for the youth, know that this is where her passion lies and why she has spent her life making sure that the youth know Jesus, love Him, and most importantly feel loved in return.

We pray that you all remain faithful and safe during these difficult and trying times. We hold onto the our faith and knowing that, “God does not give us more than we can handle”, which we believe true during this trying time in all of our lives. Love one another and serve Jesus, and we will make it through this together.
